About Us

Founded over 60 years ago, Bharat Vastralaya primarily had its roots in the cut piece trading business. In 1984, the company made its consolidated foray into the in-house manufacturing of cotton sarees. Over the years, as a leading manufacturer, we have become a national household brand that today stands synonymous with cotton sarees and suits – Karishma Sarees & Suits. Fully committed to our tagline, “Cotton Kaho Ya Karishma”, we pride ourselves on our vision of providing high quality 100 percent pure cotton sarees and salwar suits. We firmly do not believe in mixing cotton plus any synthetic material. Our mission is to strive for continuous creative development of traditional and fancy cotton sarees and suits ensuring that we are always ready to offer a new, exclusive and a vast range with every season. We have daily wear cotton sarees and salwar suits, summer cotton sarees and salwar kameez, wide range of unstitched dress materials and much more – all this at the best possible prices in the latest designs. As an established house of cotton, Bharat Vastralaya today has national widespread reach amongst its strong network of 75 dealers and more than 15000+ retailers. We have a strong presence in South India where we consistently supply our new style sarees and daily wear dress materials to prestigious physical stores and showrooms such as The Chennai Silks, Pothys, Jolly Silks, RMKV, Shreedevi and The Kalyan Silks. In North India we have a powerful foothold in Bihar, Orissa, UP and Jharkand. So whether it is the traditional dress of Tamil Nadu, that off-white handloom saree, the perfect blue saree or the traditional clothes of Uttar Pradesh, our new Karishma Cotton sarees and churidar suits are beautiful ethnic wear that can be worn at every occasion. Our company and physical store is headquartered in Mumbai. Our production and distribution offices are located in Rajkot, Gujarat where we carry out our custom manufacturing processes.
